Nice Platform Hand Truck, But Packing Material Lacking

This is a nice platform hand truck overall, but it only came inside a cardboard carton which was punctures in a few places resulting in scratches to the platform. There should be additional packing material inside the box to account for rough handling. It is a cart and will be scratched during use, but it would be nice to have better packaging. That said, the card was easy to assemble in less than 20 minutes and appears well constructed. The assembled cart is not very heavy and can be picked up easily. There is no brake on any of the wheels and I would have paid a little more to have one. I may replace one of the swiveling casters with one that has a brake. Overall a good deal for the price considering the above.

It is quite maneuverable in my house - which is how I use it. I am an older woman who lives alone and use it to move things around the house rather than carry them. You name it... full laundry baskets, boxes of books, large bags of dog food, groceries from the garage to the kitchen, etc. It goes around corners and pulls easily. Quiet too. It's probably more than I need - but I don't want to put my back out so it was worth the money. Can recommend.

EDIT: Despite being listed as supporting up to 660lbs, one of the wheels broke when I put about 300lbs on it and was moving it. The sides of the wheel popped open and the ball bearings fell out. I was able to partially put it back together, but it drags and doesn't spin well if there is more than 20 lbs on it.

This product was very helpful for moving in to my new apartment. While I appreciate that the complex provides a flatbed cart to use, the one they provide is very small and hard to maneuver (plus there is just one per building, so it isn't always available when needed). This has made the process so much easier when trying to be efficient in unloading a storage unit in consecutive trips. As some have mentioned, you will want to have your own tools on hand to attach the wheels. The size is good and it steers well. The wheels felt very heavily built, so I think as long as they are attached properly, they shouldn't be a fail point. If anything I would think the bed would sink before that. I haven't tested the cited 660lb capacity (and probably won't) but it had no issue with 200lbs I put on it. The folding is easy to use and handy for moving it around and storing it when not in use. I will be sure to update if it does end up collapsing under heavier furniture, but so far it has been great.

Like so many others mine is dented and and bent where one of the wheels screw in. I need it now so I probably wont return. Someone returned it after taring it up. The wheels are cheap plastic and will not last long.. Mine are 5 inch not 4. Im sure its because the owner before me broke them where the body is bent, My guess is they put new ones from the bigger version in there to replace. Thats really better. The wheel mounts are thin metal and I know they will not support anywhere near 660 pounds. These people dont care and will send you their broken returns. Dont buy from them. Spend a little more. This one is weak, they need to be strong and smooth rolling with with a heavy load. This one is not. Get something else.
